I tried to link a couple calculators for you but they were blocked here on the forum. E39 seems a bit aggressive to me but in that Fuel-It is a JB4 partner/expert maybe that's the way to go with the JB4? Note: You almost never actually get e85 at the pump - the actual e content can vary from station to station - but this is not an exact science some variance is not going to sink your ship. If you want to know exact content Fuel-It sells an ethanol sensor that you can install but I'm not sure if it works with the G20 (I think it shows real time what the actual e blend is in your tank). Or you can buy a little test tube kit (i bought one from Fuel-IT) for not a lot and test what you are getting at the pump which will give you a basis for your own calcs. You can go to the Burger/BMS/JB4/Fuel-IT website for info on the Fuel-It test kit and ethanol sensor here: https://burgertuning.com/collections/fuel-it Hope this helps Last edited by chenry; 12-09-2020 at 10:20 PM.. You're welcome.
Yes I do add E85 to my California 91 crap gas with a goal of getting to E30. That said you are already at a much better starting point vs me in that you can get 93 at the pump (jealous) ps I am running e30 with a flash not a piggyback so my response is really about fuel blended with e85 not about how an e85 blend impacts piggybacks |

I've read about it being able to handle full E85 but I'm not 100% sure. I run ~E25-30 and I'm scared to put in more E85

This platform is awesome. Put about $15k in mods and maintenance into my E90 and it would only crack mid11’s
$1000 and these things damn near run 10’s, I love it

That said I would love to see someone bring this to market - just not sure how they are going to pull it off given the hardware limitations of the stock components. I had this conversation with Mission Performance (the flash I run) and although they have run full E85 in the B58TU they were not comfortable with the log results - and would not release for general public consumption (falls outside of what Alex considers safe & responsible tuning). Interested to see what others bring to market and how they pull it off on an otherwise stock platform - love innovation...bring it on ps- I don't really understand why full E85 is a goal - I personally don't care. I'm putting down 470 really safely to the wheels with E30 and my flash (a little 91 California crap gas mixed with some e85) so call that 525 engine. If I could go full E85 and safely gain more performance....sure why not. But I personally don't think that's in the cards. That said every time I've done AutoX with this car (or my past cars) or driven on a track I'm reminded I don't need more power - I need to be a better driver Last edited by chenry; 12-24-2020 at 11:34 PM..
