So here's the thing. I wouldn't, because my MZ4 Coupe is already a 3,100 lbs, 330 HP "beast" of a car. I would have to sell my MZ4 Coupe to free up a garage space for the Supra, and if I were to do that I would likely buy a Corvette C7 Grand Sport instead.

Unfortunately, after 20+ years of BMW ownership, nothing on the BMW horizon excites me. I've owned everything from E30 3 series to the i3, but as of THIS moment?

If I were to plunk down $$$ to buy a BMW, it would be this Toyota. There's nothing on the current BMW line-up that interest me one bit.

On a side note, there's a BMW Z series car in my garage since 1997, except for a short stint between 2001-2003. And speaking as a BMW Z series fan, I would get THIS, not the BMW Z4.

It's a Supra, not a Silver Cloud. Leather dashes are for old man cruisers.

Dude, it's a (likely) 40kToyota, not a Ferrari. It's being built as an affordable pure sports car with little compromise. And I'm betting that it's performance with even the most rudimentary modifications will put our m4s to shame. Time will tell, but I wouldn't sleep on this car. I think Toyota is going for it here.

Funny, many cars in that range have much nicer interiors. M4 isn't a sports car.
Camaro & Mustang already put the M4 to shame lol

That depends on what criteria you are judging the cars by.

Personally, I would never trade my M3 for a Camaro or Mustang. If I went that route, I'd get a Vette before either of those two.

I have both bmw and Toyota sitting in the garage next to each other. Both with "320" HP. Both with proper six speed manual transmissions. This is where I worry things are going to go terribly wrong with new Supra.

What kind of point are you trying to make here?

Your comment on the Supra picture was based off a computer generated image, not an actual image of the real car interior.

Then you say the Mustang and Camaro are better than an M4. Neither are, yes they are cheaper performance cars but their material and build quality reflect it.
Plus by the time you configure one properly you are pushing $50k!!!

Isn't that what a GTR is? Honestly, I haven't seen one in quite a while. Maybe that leather dash wasn't the strong selling point Nissan was hoping for?

In all seriousness, the GTR was trying to bridge a performance and price gap that very few Japanese cars had successfully navigated before. So it had to come with all (ugly) guns blazing.

This Supra is less than half the price and way off the performance too. Why would it pack a heavier, fancier dash than it really needs to? Does any car under $60k offer one? I know it's an on and off option for the 3er/4er, but those aren't sports cars either.
