Its about time Cleveland plays a decent team!!

I hope the Magic give them hell!

And the lakers vs. denver series could easily go 7 games.

Both of these series are damn good and I look forward to every game.

You LA fans better hope you guys get to play Cavs instead of the Magics. Magics swept the Lakers in the regular season.

seriously, that alley oop he pulled off in the 3rd quarter was legit. nobody really can stop that. Once he polishes his post move, he's going to be the best post up big man in the nba

It's okay .. I think the other 49 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds allows him to keep the title of King James. His team flopped around on the court like fish in the second half.

Regular season doesn't mean shit. I mean we swept and Rockets and they still took us to 7. I remember Cleveland sweeping the Spurs in the regular season but got swept during the Finals.

I hear ya, man.

But, I don't want this game to come down to one possession.

Let's go, LA!

I can't wait until tonight!!!

you know what though? I don't understand why Lebron didn't just dunk it when he was under the basket, the game was theirs...but I guess it was just their first game...and he looked really tired, so I don't know

I disagree. You can have all the stats in the world, like 49 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds and play a FLAWLESS 3.5 quarters, but if you can't close out the 4th quarter like Kobe did, even though his stat line wasn't as impressive, then it means nothing.

Ultimately, the most IMPORTANT stat is the W, and that's something that LeBron did not walk away with. So Prince James it is.

Yes, but it might mean the Magics have a better chance of defeating the Lakers than the Cavs.

I don't understand how he did not close out the 4th quarter? He set up the last 2 play. The previous play where he made a 3 point play that put the Cavs up 2. But Pietrus fell down on the last play and he had no where to go which he gave a open look to West.

It was just unfortunate that Lewis made a 3 pointer. I don't blame them.

Lebron was the only key person on the offensive end. He received no help from the bench nor from his team mates. Every single play the Cavs had revolved around Lebron.

Lebron James Free Throws: 6-10
Kobe Bryan Free Throws: 12-13

Game on the line and miss your free throws? That's how you don't close out the 4th quarter.

Like Kobe has been able to close out every game, right? I mean he never misses the game winning shot or anything.

Look at the supporting cast Kobe has and look at what Lebron is working with.

IMO Kobe is the best overall player in the league right now, but I swear Kobe fans think he can walk on water..

Good win by the Nuggets. Looks like each game might come down to the wire. Can't wait to see them playing back at home.

Agreed.

Now, we need to steal one in Denver.

I say we need to steal 2.

This game was like game 1. Whoever has the big lead loses. Denver with rookie mistakes in game 1 and now Lakers in game 2.

This is why I'm back into the NBA now. It's been dried as hell after the Lakers Dynasty.

Derek's 3's are not lethal as they were in his prime days anymore..they're like butter knife.
