car is absolutely amazing. i got to drive a m440i cv for 3 months prior. great car and would have kept it and loved it. This offer to trade up to an M4 came and didn't want to pass it up.

Boy am I glad I did. The looks of the M4 are so much more aggressive than the m440i. AWD is nice. M4 Seats are much better.

Haven't gotten through breakin but I can tell this thing is a beast under the hood.

While everyone is here, does the convertible have gesture control and does it have condor access on the trunk?

Also with everyone complaining about the exhaust, how do you guys feel it sounds too down?

Here's mine. Loving it so far. The only negative is wireless CarPlay drops sometimes, 100% of the time in an area near my house which suggests interference. Pissed off BMW doesn't also include wired CarPlay.

Right by 183 and Mopac interchange? Happens to me as well there.

I saw an M4 Comp Convertible xDrive at my local dealership. I wish it hadn't already sold, otherwise I would have asked to drive it.

May sound like a stupid question, but what does the headliner feel like? After driving the m8 with the alcantara headliner I hope it's as nice as that, but I know it won't be lol.

Also how many stares and pictures do you get while driving this car? Does it attract a lot of attention?

I have one and absolutely love it. Coming from a 2017 c4s, it's a wildly different car. It's spacious, had decent trunk space and is ridiculously fast. Once the tires are warm it grips and handles very well. With the top up you forget you're in a convertible. You feel bumps but it's not jarring. Overall it feels very luxurious but it's ready to play whenever you're ready.

I had a lot of issues with CarPlay early on but that seemed to fix itself after a software update. The car sounds good but isn't obnoxiously loud when you're in Sport plus mode. In regular mode it sounds like a regular car.

I have a bunch of photos posted on IG if you're interested.

It does get a lot of attention, younger guys will rev at you quite a bit because they want to race. Women seem to like it a whole lot more than the 911(I'm waiting for my allocation).

What is your range on a full tank?

Can you open and close the top with the wind screen up?

Waiting on my February production Dravit over Full Tartufo. I ordered it with the Moonlight top, as it looked like a good combo on one of the dealer's stock M440i convertibles that Dravit over Coffee. I am not sure if black would look better? I ordered black rims with red calipers to provide a little bit of contrast.

I did not opt for the carbon buckets, the carbon ceramic brakes, or the M Drive Professional.

I did search the board...does anyone recall seeing a Dravit / Tartufo build with pictures?

i've not seen a dravit and tartufo. i do not think the m440i has tartufo as an option. It had either cognac (very light brown) or mocha (very dark). The M4 on the other hand only has tartufo. Tartufo is in the middle a much darker and browner version that cognac.

I had a dravit m440 in cognac. Pictures for reference if you want to imagine it a few shades of brown darker.
