If not, then individual. We have multiple examples here on the forum of individual leather and paint.

If I was terminally cynical, I'd think BMW NA was deliberately pushing back production to MY 2023 so they could pocket the price increase.

I think it's cheaper and more profitable for BMW to get as many cars produced as early as possible. The longer they delay the more uncertain things are. It does make sense for them to redirect allocations to other more profitable markets than the US. |

And to be fair, there's a month long backlog at the port. How many cars can they have parked waiting for a boat? That costs money too; they don't get paid until the car is delivered, not to mention renting huge parking lots. |

We are all in the M50 waiting club that my CA said was going to happen.

From reading and living vicariously through many of the posts over the last few months here on the wild timing, process, calling the dealership or Genius, etc, I opted for the "ignorance is bliss" approach for my M50 order. Set a super low bar on my expectations to have a smaller chance of disappointment. Luckily though, my order just moved to "production begins" last Thur or Fri. Wouldn't be surprised if it moved back a step or two.

And now I'm in QC! This is so exciting!
Looks like it took about 6 weeks from Scheduled for Production to QC. |

Yikes: Mine went from scheduled for production. 9/26, to "order received." It was so close to production start!

I know that it has come off the production line, and that it's in transit, but no more! No boarding confirmation and no firm date for delivery. Obviously not alone.....https://bmwi.bimmerpost.com/forums/i...ilies/sigh.gif

The ****** forum has posting of US cars with individual paint and interior. At least one of each.

Painful waiting. I literally went into production a couple weeks after placing my order since I took a production number that someone backed out of... I don't know how u guys that pre ordered and had to wait over a year could be this patient. I am sorta sad I didn't get an M50 but put my bet on the sure thing. |

mine moved from "at the port" to "in transit" again this morning, but I've been tracking the boats, and a boat wasn't supposed to leave until the 20th so I wonder if it's just getting moved around the port again? |

I'm curious if ports are just going to become a longer holdup for everyone. The waits seem to be longer, but who knows nothing has been crystal clear so far .

After waiting at the port for almost 4 weeks, my car is finally in route to Baltimore. It seems the vessel carrying it is the HOEGH TRIDENT. The anxiety is killing me, lol.
