Suggestions for an i4 that will "live" outside?

Hi - I don't have a garage for mine and am wondering if folks have any suggestions to protect it outside? It won't be on the street but will be in front of my house. Are car covers still a thing / suggested?

I my self wouldn't use a car cover if it stood outside unless i had put PPF on the whole car just because of the risk of tiny scratches if something is caught underneath the cover so to say. But if you put PPF on the whole car then this might be less of an issue sense it will only be the PPF who takes the small damage and not the paint in it self. Otherwise just PPF the whole car and be fast to remove any bird spillings, and making sure the neighbors cat doesn't jump up on the car, that should be a minor risk considering its an EV and wont generate any heat under the hood so the cat won't find the hood a bit cuddly to sit on during a winter day. But if your area is prone to hailstorm be careful.

And ppf won't help to get rid of the water spots unfortunately when it comes to water drying after rain on the car.

So PPF + Cover might be a good solution for you.

I live in NJ and both my cars end up outside, my advice is use a ceramic wax and have it detailed every few years. My wife's car is an I3 with carbon fiber roof and after6 years no issue!

Consider Griot's Garage ceramic products and get the frontal areas protected from rock chips with ppf.
