Hi,
My 2021 X3 has been in the 3rd state "production begins" for a week now.
I ordered the car Mar 27th.
I called the automated system, and said that my car would be finished by April 15.
Is the typical, that it is in the 3rd state for so long?
How long is the car in each step.

hi , i am getting 2023 m340xi , on the app it say " delivery underway " but when i use my laptop and check it is in " production begins " ?? why there is 2 different stage ? i know my salesman told me that the car was in production on 6/24 , seem like the bmwusa.com tracking is lagging behind ?

Ignore the app, use the tracking tool & BMW Genius for accurate information.

If your vehicle is built in Germany be prepared for long wait times. My car has been at port in Bremerhaven for over 2 weeks now and who knows how much longer before it ships.

Heck Mexico, too! I ordered 2/11, and I've been in "Ready for transport" since 6/15. Everything SUCKS right now.

My order for a 330e xDrive was in the QC state since 6/29. I wanted to get an idea of what to expect, so I went on cars.com and found a few VIN's of recent dealer arrivals. The latest prod date of a Mexico built G20 I could find (I didn't try more than a handful of VINs) that showed "at the dealership" was 6/11/22. I've been focusing on VIN's that are at East Coast dealerships. My SA says he's seen quite a few that get stuck - and he just thinks they are waiting for chips. I've called the BMW Genius line. Various reps were not very helpful - however, one of them told me my likely delivery date would be in the 3rd week of August. My feeling was that this was a guess, albeit, probably a good one.

My production date just got pushed back from 07/13 to 08/04. Car's still in production begins (status 150) since 06/23. There goes my hopes for an August delivery, would be a miracle to get the car before September ends.
