Closing trunk with FOB

Anyone know if this can be done?
I can close the power trunk with the button on the door but not with the FOB. FOB only seems to be able to open the trunk.
Is coding required?
2023 M340i LCI btw.

I don’t know about the LCI but coding with bimmercode worked for me. Seems odd that they haven’t enabled it by default.

So what do you have to do to close?
Long press trunk button on FOB?

They do. They even get galvanic controls which looks way nicer. Not sure why BMW hates the uS market lol.

I think cause the US market doesn't like packages shoved upon them. So almost everything has to be individual options. Hence some options are not available.
Only individual option I selected was wireless charger, and adaptive suspension.

They do😫 I have asked around so many times at different shops and dealers to retrofit and I always get the same “No can do” response

For that and kick to open, which was deleted on my build
