I was going to mention that and can't believe no one did until the 4th page.

So the 4 series is about same size as the previous 6 series and I'm assuming the next 2 series will be close to the old 4.

I don't get the fascination of car getting bigger.
If you want a bigger car get a 5/6/8 series why do they have to grow the 3/4 series?

Also I wonder if those rear vents are functional?
6 coupe is still at least 5 inches longer, and not to mention lower and wider, this is nowhere near the 6, though its longer than previous 4

It simply does not look like a BMW!

I'm afraid by trying so hard to stand out, they have lost their way and abandoned everything that made the brand great.

Maybe the younger generation will dig this???

Could not agree more. Since the first drop of camo a few weeks ago, that's all I see. Big mustang. Ugh. At least the m3 looks to have better proportions and looks more like a BMW.

Many people bash the grills, but one thing that I really miss are the hard body lines on previous BMWs. Most g series cars expect the g30 and g01 have soft and un BMW like body lines.

it's a shame bc the power train may be great, but the exterior of the car just doesn't do it for most of us

I honestly thought that side pic was from a 850i. How much smaller is it than the 8 series?

Imagine if it were (?) the exact same window.

To say this looks like a Mustang is an insult to the Mustang. This thing is ugly from front to back and top to bottom.

I looked at some videos of the Nürburgring track testing and it does appear a tad too long. Long is good for straight long-distance driving. But for me, the M3 and M4 are not necessarily what the car was designed for. Wider and stubby or for better handling. The 8 Series was designed as a Race Car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and then BMW built the consumer version.

The 3 Series is now the size of the older 5 Series, it's getting to be too big and ridiculously expensive.

It looks like whoever is driving it has scratched the front fascia up already.
