The G22 will not look like a G20. According to SCOTT it will diverge more from the sedan and take some cues from the new G15 8 Series.

That should be interesting. I'm curious to see how that'll look in the context of the 4-gran coupe. To my knowledge bmw plans to continue with the 4gc, the g26 I guess.

Sell that wagon in the US with the I6 and Xdrive and I'm buying it. Fact.

Yes it's a whole new ballgame as you say. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. But this is a completely direct stunning concept.
Rather than say it's a smaller 8. The best I can say is that it is influenced by the 8. But is not a direct descendant.

However this forum is going to tear each and everyone apart on this car. And not to sound too masochistic. But I find that will be delicious indeed.

Scott, will there be G21 touring for US market? Or, has the touring met the same fate as the 3-GT?

As reported earlier on the BMW model thread.
No Touring for the US.
We Europeans will see the debut in February in time for the World Premiere @ Genf in March as well as the 340d.

Oh great, BMWNA. Leave me with wagon options of Volvo or Audi.

Any idea when we might expect the new 4? I'm really looking forward to it.

G22 is going to be amazing if that's true

Same here if Bmw can't bring wagon in here other can. Tired to hear that the X3 will do instead.

G21 M340i may not hit the July release, but almost certainly the November one.

No laughing matter. The market is a symbiotic circle so what happens
To one market could possibly happen to another.
I think options should be open to other markets. Do I understand the decision to not do so?

Yes I do. Sales of the Touring were up against two vehicles if you will The X1 and the X3. Both outsold the Touring. Even so did the 3er GT.
Now there is the X1,X2,X3 and X4 to occupy this area of the market because their segment dominates the market. This is not likely to change but we have started to see similar patterns in other markets as well as the complete collapse of segments to SUVs.

Agree
BTW even with 3er face, render looks pretty good. Sport and luxury at the same time.

Half rear of the car kinda like C coupe somehow
