Screw in tire
Do you think this can be safely patched or is it too close to the sidewall?

Looks far enough from the sidewall, but if you have a tire shop that you trust, get their opinion.

I had a screw that was closer than in the pic above to the sidewall and they patched it. It held air without issues till the tire ate through its tread. But being an RFT, no idea.

The tire shop I went to said it couldn't be patched. I put a plug in temporarily.
