Not really. Show me an Audi with 450+ hp and a manual with a RWD-biased AWD (never mind RWD-only option) and then I'll agree with you.

I'm a big fan of RWD. All my BMW's have been. But then I had a 997TT for 3 years and you realize how awesome AWD is for putting power down.

Lower key buzz is probably also a function of the fact the 2 door M4 will still be on sale for another 2 years and it outsells the 4 door... 3-1 or 4-1. Lots of potential hype still in waiting as 2 door ppl looking at at least 3 years before their version comes
