After that decade, I got an Infiniti G37 with manual, which I chose over 335 AWD with manual, also because of affordability, but they had pretty similar stick feeling. I drove the new Integra with manual and the new M2, 3, and 4 6MT. No comparison. M wins.
His car is a 2022 I think. Latest gen. Great car for 30K although FWD is a deal breaker for me. I have not driven the Integra version to compare but I drive his car 2-3 times a week to keep it running while he's away at college.

I test drove a 335 AWD stick when they came out and although the stick was pretty good, the AWD felt clunky to me compared to the RWD version. The xDrive has gotten so much more "out of the way" than the original version they grafted into the 3er.

if so then 8/24 to 4/25 is a really short model year for '25 the G87, can anyone confirm? update with power and "cosmetic" options just to LCI it 8 months later.

Question: Does LCI always start with a new Model Year or can it be introduced in the middle of a MY? Basically, will this M4 LCI be the beginning of MY25?

You must be new to the brand.

Sure will. MY25 begins production in March.

i’ve only had one bmw, i will be watching this thread closely. hopefully you can hint (like you did w the G20) whether waiting 8 extra months for the ‘26 LCI will be worth it, after i’ve already held out for the power bump and new colors.

Thanks! Do you know when they update the online configurator for the new M4 colors and options by any chance?

I haven't heard of any new colors for the M3/M4. I'd assume the reveal of the LCI should be this month followed by the site builder update in February.

Thanks! I am surprised the frozen grey is offered on M3 and not on M4.

They can still add it in 2026. That color looks like a luxury sedan, less than a compact sports car. Yet it may look great on an M2. People are strange. Some order Frozen Orange. It's better to have choices than to have Henry Ford's palette of available colors.

Dravit is a great color. It’s one you need to see in person to appreciate.

Anyone knows when the new X2 version will hit the US dealerships?

Dealers already have their HEA cars in transit. They should be arriving to dealers by the end of this month unless BMW decides to hold them.

I have been holding off since last summer on buying a used 2018-2022 X2 until the new X comes out. I did not see a lot of selection, probably because many current owners are also waiting for the new model X2 to arrive before trading in. The price for a used 2018-2022 is not bad now, but I hope not only that after the new X2 is here more older X2's will be available to pick from, but also that the price may dip lower fast since there was no new X2 supply for over a year.

Makes sense? Or false strategy? When this year should I try to swoop down for a first gen X2?

It is great, definitely. I've seen it on an M4. Changes hue dramatically depending on the light conditions. Also, gold flakes are very sparkly in direct sunlight. Exudes luxury

My M550 is Champaign Quartz Metallic (now renamed Alvite Gray Metallic I believe). It has the same dramatic changes in hue and sometimes can even look Dravit.

There are no new details in the thread because there are actually no new details with that LCI. At least none that would be important enough and not obvious from the LCIs of other G2x models.

This thread is long enough already and doesn't need various personal tangents, please.
