Hahah ybbiz34 they meet the age requirements. . .It's the Olympics. . .they can't keep something that big under wraps. . .The Olympic Committee would have an absolute field day blowing up China's spot. (I think anyways)

You would think so! I mean, that's what I want to believe...that the Chinese team played by the rules and won their medal legitimately. No matter the age, those girls are absolutely incredible. But like I said rules are rules.

The former U.S. women's gymnastics coach from back in the day (his wife is the coach currently) flat out said live on the air after the competition that the Chinese girls were excellent gymnasts, the best on the floor that evening, but there was NO WAY that some of them were of proper age.

China would/could easily cover it up to, if it is the case.

Also, the little girl that supposedly sang during the opening ceremonies wasn't singing at all. She was just lip synching while they let the real singer (another little girl) sing behind stage because they thought she was too ugly to be let out in public...this ties into the theme of deception and dishonesty.

Michael Phelps did not start swimming until he was 7 and it surely was not on the orders of a government official.

Let's not forget that NBC is said to have added a bogus "Live" stamp to tape-delayed West Coast feed of competition coverage this weekend, and edited the "parade of nations" segment of the opening ceremony to delay the entrance of the U.S. Olympic Team.

Yesterday, I was watching the live coverage of women's team gymnastics on CBC. A few hours later, I watched it on NBC and there was a live stamp on the screen. I was the WTF!

There are definitely some backwards practices in China. . .so I gotta side with you that some of those gymnasts are not of age, I just saw that "little chick" you were talking about. . .she must be 4'10"

I guess NBC is censoring the "REAL" live footage from China; cut and edit the footage and make the Americans proud. Kinda like the brain wash from the terrorist propaganda.

Well apparently it's fairly easy to do so if the government is involved. The IOC follows the gymastics governing body's (I forget the name) rules for verifying age. All they need is a passport.

Is the truth coming out?

State-media story fuels questions on gymnast's age

By JOHN LEICESTER, Associated Press Writer1 hour, 18 minutes ago

Just nine months before the Beijing Olympics, the Chinese government's news agency, Xinhua, reported that gymnast He Kexin was 13, which would have made her ineligible to be on the team that won a gold medal this week.

In its report Nov. 3, Xinhua identified He as one of "10 big new stars" who made a splash at China's Cities Games. It gave her age as 13 and reported that she beat Yang Yilin on the uneven bars at those games. In the final, "this little girl" pulled off a difficult release move on the bars known as the Li Na, named for another Chinese gymnast, Xinhua said in the report, which appeared on one of its Web sites, http://www.hb.xinhuanet.com

The Associated Press found the Xinhua report on the site Thursday morning and saved a copy of the page. Later that afternoon, the Web site was still working but the page was no longer accessible. Sports editors at the state-run news agency would not comment for publication.

So documentary evidence of what we already thought we know should lead to the gold medal winners being stripped of their medals. The rules are the rules even if the old rules didn't have this age requirement. It's a fair assumption the rules were changed for good reason. If the gold medalists get away with this, then why not get away with doping as well?

Shawn Johnson's age wasn't printed as 13 once and 14 once in articles from earlier in the year regarding gymnastics competition.
