Could be like the GT3. No manual on launch, but added as an option a year or so into production.

Even though Porsche is going the opposite direction with the GT4. Only manual on launch with PDK coming as an option later on.

I don't doubt the data provided in the thread because too many of the magazine stories ends up being marketing. This comes from the same guys that claim you can't mount an mperformance lip spoiler without something to "balance" the front end downforce so at the least something changed in their direction.

Yeah I agree. I'm not sure how they've come up with a design like this AGAIN. They had a blank piece of paper to start with this time and they still end up with an unsightly exhaust!

My issue is that they can't drive them. Grandpa has a nice car that he can barely drive and putts around the neighborhood doing the speed limit. Such a waste of a good car.

One day I drove next to Porsche 911 Turbo S on highway in mine tuned F90 M5 and I figured let's pull a little and have fun. ( almost empty highway ) And that guy drove below 65 on 70mph limit

He was like 70 years old.

I bet that he never revs over 3K

What if the manual is only offered on a limited run special edition type car? That would explain the ynguldyn's confusion around the manual option and saying there won't be any manuals and Flasch saying there will be a manual.

I agree with this somewhat. I also think that the younger people who can afford a 911 need something more practical so they will spend that 120k on something else. Hence why you see a ton of 40 year olds driving Range Rover Supercharged.

It's not about being Nostradamus, it's that he has access to future model information. He's not psychically predicting this stuff, he's just repeating what he sees or is being told. So we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
