My '16 340i xDrive was around $61k and id say it was almost 75% optioned out.
Hoping that the new M340i will be in the same $60-65k range decently optioned out considering things that I paid extra for such as the back up camera,M sport package, LED headlights are included standard.

Sold it to me for 57k, there was a $3k lease credit from BMWFS, and I had loyalty credit as well. Cap cost was $53,250 |

I just built out a 330 online and converted it to USD. Almost fully loaded msport ended up at $52k USD. I beleive the jump from 330 to 340 this year is about $7000. $59,000 sounds about right which is close to no price change.
The bmws are no longer leasing better than the mercedes, audi, and infiniti so, if they want to gain any traction in market share, they will keep prices right around 60K loaded up. Mercedes and Audi are at $62 similarly equipped and the infiniti is about $58 in red sport trim. |

I read in the m340i thread or maybe elsewhere that all m340i will have the full virtual cockpit , so that means they all have nav. I'd imagine most people would get that anyway. They also have the new lsd which is an option on the 330i m sport.
Nav on the x3 is $1700 and the m sport diff is a $1300 option there. I think 340i m sport price + $3000 at least for base price. So $52k base or higher. Doesn't seem too bad really given the new m340i is kind of like getting a free mppk flash at that price. |

$475 a month with $2500 in taxes, fees, first month down.
However I did get the car in November of 2016 when the '17s were already on the lot so the dealer discounted the '16s by a good amount. Add on the BMW incentives, college grad, BMW CCA and loyalty and IMO I think it was a good deal. I'm not expecting to get anywhere near the same deal on a brand new M340i but I'm just hoping its not going to like the current M3 prices lol

Depends on residuals and MF's. At this rate I'm thinking mid 50s residual and almost a .00200 MF. Payments in the $800 range (same ball park as what I'm paying for my M3). BMW has continued to lower residuals and raise MF's over the past 18 months.

I'm paying $505/month for my 340i since I got $10,000 off sticker and put the full MSDs down, it was really a sweet deal. If I'm spending close to $1,000 I might as well just get the M4. Hmm.. |

That's what it is, if you want it with the digital dash, m-sport package, heads up display, MPPSK package, M rear diffuser and spoiler etc etc
Mine's quite optioned out, and I know you can get basically the same car for a lot less. That's ok, that's why they make options I priced out a stripper M3 - still was about $71K, and I couldn't get 14% off sticker like on the 440. Insurance over 100/month more too. So total cost of ownership is still a LOT less on a $67k 440 than a $71k M3. Sticker price isn't everying |

$900/month is M3/M4 money. There's no way anyone would pay that much for a M340.

Squeak,
You "done good". I'm trying to figure out what to do when my '16 340 lease is up the end of Feb. My sticker was $60K, Cap cost $54.6, residual $37K, payments are $645. FWIW, I had a very good test in an '18 S5 Sportback. However driving home in my 340, I thought, "This is a better car". The idea of a G20 is very interesting, BUT the model hasn't had a year of "testing" in Euroland. That could be a potential problem. |

MSRP shouldn't be too much over F30 and should be similar or in line with X3 m40i. My concern is the lease program for BMW. It's not getting better with raising MF and RV not being as high as before. It leaves to how much incentives or rebate BMW is willing to give.
My friend is paying $700+/mo for his X3 m40i (MSRP 56k or 58k or so) that he got when it first came out. I expect similar for the M340i around $700-800/mo on ~60k MSRP.
