BMW App - My trips not activated
My trips on BMW App was working perfectly until earlier today.
I didn't change anything but now it was it says not activated. I tried the following: 1. Delete BMW app 2. Deactivate and activate again analytics from the car as the BMW app indicates. Have anytime experienced this issue before ? Any solution? Thanks Chris |

Try to reboot your iDrive by pressing 30 seconds on the volume button. Make sure your engine is running when you do this. This might reactivate your trip details.

That happened to me in the past. The way i fixed it was going into the idrive settings and change the data privacy settings and set it to all including analysis. if that's already selected, then update your apps in your idrive.

This too. I noticed after a service was done that the “all inc analysis” had been unticked. I’d start here for troubleshooting

Mine stopped working even though the proper data privacy settings were selected, I ended up toggling through the DP settings in iDrive and magically it started working again. This happened after my last update.

It shows each trip/journey you take with your BMW. It shows the fuel consumption of that trip, average speed of that trip, date and time the trip was taken, the distance it was, from where (point A) and to where (point B), last but not least carbon emissions. It provides you a trip analysis/statistics near month end, average fuel consumption, average mileage driven per day. Efficiency Coach also pops up.

Hello guys,
I'm currently running into the same problem; everything was fine until this morning when I woke up and checked the app, and trips were all of a sudden deactivated. Already tried to mess around in the privacy settings but does not work. An iOS update for myBMW just came out, thought it would fix it but nope. Any other tips to fix this issue? I really didn't want to lose the recordings from previous trips. Just solved the problem, restart the iDrive and good to go. Last edited by Mikelovich; 01-26-2024 at 05:16 PM.. Reason: Solved issue |
