Interior color help with mineral grey

Hi everyone. Getting ready to make a final decision. This will be an M sport mineral grey but I’m deciding between black or mocha interior. This will be a custom build. Any advice or suggestions?

While I do like Cognac, especially since it’s my goddog’s name, the two tone dash is a complete eyesore and dealbreaker. It looks even worse in person unfortunately.

Surprised there’s no love for the basic black with gray.

Mineral gray is a conservative color and so is black, so mocha makes the car more interesting.

By the way, OP do you drive a Lexus IS 350 F-Sport? How does your lexus handle and how do you feel about the NuLuxe interior, is it breathable material or does it make your back sweat similar to sensatec?

I have the nuluxe material and I really do like it. Coming up on three years now and it still looks like new. I don’t have the issue with the sweaty back because Lexus does offer ventilated seats. I am a big fan and it looks indistinguishable from leather. I wish that BMW would offer their version in more colors. I’m kind of torn between the black Sensatec and the mocha leather. I just sat in the Sensatec and I did feel a little bit more comfortable whereas the leather does feel quite hard. However I do like the mocha color better with the gray. I guess you can’t have your cake and eat it too sometimes.

I have the mocha interior with Dravit Grey. I really like the combination... really lift the ambience of the interior.

Mocha was my choice too, unfortunately no merino option for this color... the other colors are great too, but I had already a 530xd with a similar color as tartufo and sophisto grey outside. So this time it will be black merino, dravit grey and open-pored oak.

How is it holding up? Did you consider the Sensatec at all?

This is like the 4th post about this. Choose what makes you happy and what you think looks good, everyone is going to have their own opinion. Don't choose something just bc others say they like it ya know?

If there was a third option my preference, Merino Fiona Red Interior!

Mineral Grey + Red. In the end, what previous poster said, your personal preference on what you feel matches with exterior colour.

I had the dakota leather on my prior 330e and I hated it. It was hard and not truly leather like. That is one of the reasons I upgraded to the 530e.

IMHO the choice is a tough one. I am not fond of black interiors, I think they make the car look drab. I have the bluestone exterior (a bluish grey) with the mocha nappa leather and I think the mocha looks good with grey. So I would prefer the sensatec to Dakota but I would prefer the mocha to the black. Tough choice. Too bad they don't offer a Nappa upgrade option.

The leather in the G20 is vernasca if that's any different.
