That's fast, I visited dealer in late June, and I was gonna order the 2023 model, but later was told they cannot order 2023 model anymore. I think my salesman have order placed in early July, and the status just changed to "Production Begin" this Monday (August 7th 2023), can't wait to see and drive the new car.

This is something your CA should have answered before you placed your order. Could be weeks or months. How many people are in front of you? Are they a high volume dealer? If they had an August allocation you would have heard. September maybe??

He said once he gets my allocation it could be 10
Weeks. I saw him on Monday he said they should have the allocation soon

Update: car is currently in Final Assemby (purgatory). Hopefully it gets on the next boat with the last of the 23s, although from what I’ve read that would be an optimistic timeline.

My car just changed status to RFT today so hopefully it goes out with the last batch of 23's fingers crossed

i don’t mind the wait atm bc my sales guy said the system isn’t showing the price of the port upgrades.

Anyone else run into that? I didn’t add any port options initially and wanted to after the fact.

I also entered Ready for Transport on Saturday morning. Did not have any port pricing issues when I ordered my car (added M Perf carbon interior trim and black badging). However, after seeing a car with the M Performance carbon spoiler I wanted this added to the order. CA is having issues getting it accepted in the system. He's going to try again today and call BMW if it doesn't show up.

I was trying to add the MPE, black badging, and debating that M carbon spoiler as well. But was debating on just ordering the spoiler myself and adding it.

Entered FA on July 29. I specifically ordered a MY2024, don't know what a 23 carry over is.

On average, time in FA has been around a month. I’ve been in FA since 7/21

Just telling you what we’re all experiencing so you know what to prepare for. West coast deliveries seem to go much quicker than east coast though
