Is there a way of showing which gear is selected in normal drive mode, I know it’s shown in S and during manual shifting..

It´s only possible with Alpina software or Xhp.
There´s nothing you can code in the DKOMBI4 because this information comes from the TCU attached to the 8HP transmission.

Yeah go with the XHP transmission tune. It shows the gear when in comfort mode (auto).

I’m getting the Xhp ‘tune’ done tomorrow, I’m looking forward to seeing if there’s any difference. It’s my first auto, interesting journey learning about the gearbox..

Turns out the shop weren’t able to flash the tcu for some reason - they said software wasn’t allowing it? Anyone heard of this? I’ve got a g21 2.0d m sport pro if that makes any difference.

There´s currently no support for G20 Diesel engines.
Support will come later this year.

Got them to tune stage 1 while I was there which has made a huge difference. Probably no point getting xhp as it’s only a baby. I’ll get a 340 rather when I can afford it 😥

there are tunners in Russia that offer , but you need have bflash tool , bench connect to gearbox
