Hey guys - my M340i should be arriving in July and I'm wondering what tyres are they delivering these cars with. What's been on yours?

My M340i with square-setup run-flats came with 19” Pirelli P7 run-flats. I’m not impressed with the ride smoothness on city roads, but they are at about 35k miles and will probably last close to 40k. Highway ride on interstates is a lot smoother, and relatively quiet.

BMW recommends pressures of about 39/42 psi on the M340i, which doesn’t help with the ride smoothness. My old F30 ran pressures of only 32/35.

My 2020 M340i came with non-runflat OEM Michelin PS4’s. These are the ones with the Star on the tyre next to the name, and were designed by Michelin for BMW.
I have run these tyres for three years and they have been excellent in both dry and the wet conditions. Road noise is pretty low.
I run them with 39-40 psi (cold inflation), although the BMW App suggests they should be run at 2.7 bar, but 39 psi is recommended in the in-car manual.
They have worn very evenly at the pressures I have used.
I am very happy with these tyres and would have no problem getting PS4’s (or the newer PS5’s) as replacement tyres.

My 330i came with Pirelli PZero PZ4* RFTs. Mine is an MSport with staggered 19" wheels. I've seen quite a few M340i with the same tyres.
The only LCI car I've seen close up had Michelin PS4S. The PZeros are pretty good, but I like the Michelin PS4 I have on my Jaguar better. They're a touch grippier and are also quieter (on the Jaguar at least). I will switch to those (or more likely PS5 as they apparently retain the good stuff from the PS4 but wear better) when I need to replace the PZeros, and will get an inflation kit as I'd rather lose the RFTs and gain a bit more sidewall compliance to alleviate some of the slight jitteriness on less smooth road surfaces.

My 2020 340 came with 19" Pilot sport 4S. I replaced the fronts with the same tyres. Rears are still original . I run 40 PSI on all 4.
Steve did yours come with 4 or 4S?
