They are on the inside on small pieces not next to your model designation..... so.... again, why put it there if it didn't come from the factory that way? Everyone can see that it looks like shit and you just announced to real M owners and other BMW enthusiasts that you are a poser. Moral of the story, don't put fake badges on your car. Or better yet, rule of thumb, if you have to add a badge that didn't come from the factory on your car, you probably shouldn't be doing it.

Since many people might not immediately notice that this is an F30, I'll do a break down on the details.

None of the parts on this car is from the F80 except maybe the fenders. You can tell because it doesn't fit that well to the other panels.

- The roof is vinyl wrapped.

- The rear quarter panels haven't been widened.

- The hood is an aftermarket F30 hood.

- The headlights are still F30.

- The kidney grilles are still F30.

- The front bumper is some aftermarket version to fit the F30 kidney grilles and headlights.

- The side mirrors are not M mirrors; they are F30 mirror covers with a protruding tip.

That's all I noticed right off the bat.

*Bonus - weird placement on the headlight washer cut out.

They might be. It's possible they could've taken a heat gun to the rear portion to make it fit with the F30 quarter panel. But it could also be an aftermarket rocker panel that fits the front F80 fender and rear F30 quarter panel. But who knows.

Important note...

I'm not trying to knock on this build or make the insinuation that it's a fraud. I actually applaud all the trouble this individual went through to make this build possible as it must've been a PITA. I also have no idea how much money it costs in Peru to import an actually F80 vs building a replica from an F30. But personally, I think a nicely modded F30 M-Sport looks better than this. That's just my opinion, but kudos to the owner.
