The M4 will be looker this time as it should be, why else would you want to choose less space, the hassle to get in and out of the rear seats and deal with those long doors if not for looks? The G20 has a fugly shape and if this render is anything to judge from it transfers to the G80.

Honestly my biggest beef with the car isn't the front, it's how soft the side profile has become compared to the muscular 3/4 and profile of the F-gen 3er/M3. I said it when the G20 first came out, I much prefer the strong shoulder line of the F30/F80 over the multiple character lines of the new car.. this is part of what gives it its Lexus/Acura vibe. The rear almost looks droopy, akin to the w205 C class. Anyway, I'm still exited to see the car fully revealed... with the F8x cars we had the engine controversy to keep us occupied (tri-turbo V6 anyone???) now we got BIG GRILL lobbying for their stake in BMW.

Who's going to be the first to spec an individual car out in Porsches' Ruby Star?

it's growing on me! I think it's going to make the current M3 look outdated pretty quick. excited for this car, may trade in the M2 for it.

This is correct. F80 M3 was not a limited production car so it will continue to depreciate no matter how ugly G80 M3 is. Limited edition cars like the 1M and Z8 hold value.

I saw the pic and my mind went to "is that an Alfa Romeo". Weird?
Back to regular programming, I'm having a difficult time with those monster grills. My 9yo son loves it. Maybe I'm too old school!
