Hi !
After used the expert mode of BimmerCode to code m logo , tyre pressure in the instrumental cluster and xView I saw that the navigation’s informations and ACC informations were lost in Head Up Display

I try to revert code with backup and also change the values but nothing change
Also the sport mode on the hud is lost

My car (g21 - my 2019) has 07.2020 firmware and I’m waiting to install 11.2020.. my car downloaded it but not install (maybe battery is not full charge)

do you advise me to try to install the new firmware and see if it resolves or can I use the solution provided by ifr?

Both times where my car was updated OTA, it wiped out all the coding I’d done, so hopefully it reset it back to a known good state.

Now my car is under charge so I hope after two days ota upgrade will finally start
It’s possible that 13v are not enough?
after 13v the charger goes into a state of desolfication

Someone posted that the charge won’t accelerate when the upgrade is pushed to your car, but can make the difference when it will allow you to kick-off the install.

For sure the last OTA update, erase all coding cheats.

It seems to be a clean way to solve your coding issue.

Just to be sure, did you check what it's set to in the HUD iDrive menu? Reason is, when I did some coding yesterday, I thought I'd knocked out the HUD and it had just moved it from Automatic. I got the new HUD menu to fix the missing tach:

DKOMBI4
- CAFD_00004508_004_005_013
- CB_HUD_FAS - Ausgelesen = nicht_aktiv (was aktiv)
- CB_HUD_LIST_AUS - Ausgelesen = aktiv (was nicht_aktiv)
- CB_HUD_LIST_AUTOMATISCH - Ausgelesen = aktiv (was nicht_aktiv)
- CB_HUD_LIST_FAS_PERMANENT - Ausgelesen = aktiv (was nicht_aktiv)
- CB_HUD_LIST_SPORT_AUS - Ausgelesen = nicht_aktiv (was aktiv)

But I have no navigation info

I’m trying to solve alone but I need ur help
I verify these parameters in 4508 caf (dkombi)

HUD_NAVI_ENABLE (aktiv)
CB_HUD_NAVI (aktiv)
PIA_HUD_NAVI (aktiv)

Are all actives

So I need someone who want share his caf file (I don’t think there are personal data inside...) or ask to someone to say me where I can download a “standard” version


I also already try to compare old version of dkombi caf file 07.2020 (with work navigation info on hud) with new dkombi caf file 11.2020 but there are no differences (only unknow parameters, that were not there before ... I imagine new future implementations)

I also compare hu_mgu files... nothing!


So.. any suggestions on other ecu I can verify?

On the Scr_anzeige, this post suggests it’s to do with ad-blue warnings which would make sense: https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forum...ue-and-DPF-off

The top two lines are part of the “auto adapt to route“ coding that IFR sent me. Allows the car to slow down at a turning without Nav enabled just by indicating.

Hi, in HU_MGU search (in the expert mode) xView or x_view (I don’t remember)
That’s all

it is a useless feature because it only shows the horizontal axis (in g20/21 model)
