M340i Exhaust Setup/Mods?

Curious to see if anyone has a undercarriage shot of the M340i so we can see what the exhaust setup is like.

I love my current setup in my 340i with a resonator delete. If I was keeping the car some downpipes and a Dinan exhaust would be perfection though.

From what I heard so far the M340i sounds like it slots in between a 340i with MPE and a 340i with MPPSK. I wonder if a resonator delete can be done or what an eventual aftermarket downpipe/muffler will sound like.

Hey guys,

I made a post a couple weeks ago and took a bunch of exterior photos, including some exhaust shots from the ground.

A little update thanks to our friends over at RealOEM.com - The exhaust diagram for the M340!

As you can see, there are no secondary cats or resonators shown, just the back box. With how it's shaped, a muffler delete (or small replacement mufflers) would be an easy swap for any muffler shop.

Now for the downpipes...does anyone know the accuracy of RealOEM diagrams? I pulled the diagrams for the f30 340i and g20 M340i and they look identical...thoughts?

bumping an old-ish thread... the exhaust seems to be of similar design as the A90 Supra. even though this is the higher output engine and some tuning is different, the hardware (firing order etc, bore/stroke) is all the same and so should sound pretty similar to the Supra right? someone with more insight into the situation can perhaps contribute... please...
