11/2019.70 driving lights switch
Hi all, running on my G20 want to put rear driving lights on and supposedly there is a switch now after the software update - anybody found where this is? Think the LEDS look great always lit up like the headlights

Why not just put the lights on using the switch?
Do you mean you'd like the rear lights on without putting the dipped headlights on? In other words, the rear lights on at the same time as just the DRLs? This used to be the case a few years ago. When DRLs first came in but were not yet mandatory, the rear lights would come on too. At some point they changed that. |

Only available with 07.2020 update - end of the year for OTA or if you can persuade a dealer they'll do it if you can find some warranty work to be done related to software. Like maybe iDrive sometimes restarts randomly for you.... 😉

Yes want the daytime lights to be on rear too without dipped headlights - I must have read the release notes wrong I thought an option was being included on the OTA that's just been released - oh well end of year it is - auto window is good though!

Is this it?
Just got 07/2020.30 at the dealership this week. Couldn’t say if it was there or not before, assuming not based on the above posts. |

Just mention that Spotify/CarPlay has crashed a few times and Bluetooth issues. They'll update it 👍

You know the auto window would be a great addition for Mrs OM3RTA as she dailies the car for work but due to you know what she is WFH for at least another month so the usefulness for the car park barrier is not there yet. |

I see the left and right hand traffic as an option. Does this mean you don't need beam deflectors anymore?

Yes because the headlights will change automatically when driving on the wrong side but I think you still need to carry them in the car in France. |

However, not all cars need them, and in fact, speaking of someone who's driven in France every month for the last 20 years, this obsession Brits have with complying with every requirement when it's highly unlikely you're going to see a police car, never mind get stopped by one is understandable, but actually quite unnecessary. |
