Should I replace the OEM Tires on 2019 330i ???

Hi,
I have a 2019 BMW 330I that came with Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season 225/45 R18 tires.

Its time to replace them now. Can you guys please suggest if I should replace the OEM and get something else?

I drive mostly in city only and may be 4, 5 long trips in an year.

Please suggest some good options to me.

Thanks,
GeekySim

If you want to stay with a good touring tyre I can recommend the Michelin Primacy 4+ from experience on two of our other cars. I've not read great reports on the P7 but have no personal experience (my 330i MSport has PZeros but they're not a touring tyre and are pretty stiff though very grippy). For a bit more accuracy and not a big increase in noise and harshness the Pilot Sport 5 would be a good option. It's a lot less aggressive than the Pilot Sport 4S which is the go-to ultra high performance tyre for most on this site. I had Pilot Sport 4 on my Jaguar and they were really good but wore quite quickly. The PS5 supposedly retains the best characteristics of the PS4 but with better wear. I plan to put them on my 330i when the PZeros wear out.

For the kind of driving you are doing I would just go with an all season tire. Try Continental DSW06. Great tire and you aren't paying the Michelin premium.

Will give you better tread life than a sport tire.

I agree, Continentals are great tires and a bettr value when compared to Michelin.

Do research on Tire Rack to determine the best tires for your needs. They have lots of useful ratings and reviews.

This is where different markets come into play. Here in Australia I can often get better prices on Michelins than on Continentals so it shifts the value equation. Also I don't have to contend with snow and ice so use summer tyres year round.

I want to replace my P7’s, and I am leaning toward the Michelin Primacy, with Continentals my 2nd choice.

In my opinion, the ride of the P7 is way too rough, even for a runflat. I’ve also had bad luck with potholes, which seem to cause sidewall bulges or complete sidewall blowouts. So far I’ve had five P7’s replaced under the add-on BMW tire and wheel warranty, and four have been sidewall failures. In every case the tire was within a pound or two of recommended pressure.
