Tyre / Alloy insurance

Any suggestions for Tyre insurance cover? Have used MotorEasy for the last 3 years who have been great and paid out on all 5 claims no issue (mostly potholes) however a new policy for my incoming M340D is now over £500 so would like to look at other options, Alloy cover not vital but understand they are normally bundled together. Cheers

I am insured with Shortfall for both tyre and alloy insurance..I have already claimed for a damaged RFT - 5k since new - and they paid out within a week with no dispute. Policy was £299 for 3 years and has already almost paid for itself with a tyre costing £250 fitted.

Check out ALA, have used them for gap insurance in the past and they offer wheel / tyre cover as well.

I took tyre insurance out with Auto Protect (offered through dealer) I’m paying around £500 for Runflat Cover up to £300 each tyre (5 in 3yr) I’ve already claimed two tyres in the first 6 months, so it’s already paid for itself.

I’d stick with who you’re with, esp if they payout without hassle. You might save £150 elsewhere, but if they are a nightmare to deal with…
