330e: Maximum mpg capped at 90mpg after software update?
Since software update to 07/2020.30 my max mpg is now 90. Previously it was 99.9. This seems a backwards step and am wondering if it’s an error or meant to be like this?
When it was 99.9 and you’re doing a lot of electric driving and the odd bit of petrol, I was thinking it’d be better if it was a three digit reading i.e. showed 120.0 mpg or 165.0 etc etc... it’s actually gone the other way! Anyone else have this or any insight into why BMW would lower it? |

I don't know whether this is intentional, but like you, I was expecting any upgrade to ensure it would show mpg figures over 100......after all, they sell the 330e on the basis of mpg being up to 140!

I know it's a faff, but change the units to l/100km and convert.
Divide 282.48 by the l/100km figure. For example: 282.48 / 1.7 = 166.2 mpg |

Sounds like my last car - Peugeot 308GT where the trip odometer stopped at a weird mileage. Until I discovered it worked ok in Km's but stopped in MPH...bad software engineering....
