There have been several other photos, including the first spy shot ever of this car, that showed it is very wide. I believe it was a pic of the rear without the bumper on in a shop over a year ago, this thing is going to be plenty wide. There are plenty of spy shots that show this car is plenty wide, to me the rear is not the issue.

They seem to now be slightly tinted, like on all the newer model BMWs.

However, it's the same overall light design, as on the current M340i.. #Meh

Regardless, the North American market will get different tail/brake/signal layout, due to their larger surface area requirement rules.

Looking good bmw. Some of the folks here act like this is their first rodeo. Umm why is the camo still on? Why does BMW tease us with the slow reveal? How come they can't release it now? What's the deal, lol.

Our resident leaker yngulgyn said that the launch interior colors are "black, orange/black, blue/black (merino leather, partial or full)" and "Silverstone/Black". But that was back in September 2019, so maybe things have changed.

I don't think it's the lighting in the shot. The black car definitely seems to have a second row of clear LEDs in the tail light.

Good eye. That may explain the camo covering the rear windows blocking a vantage point of the seat design.
