After going back and forth with the dealer, this was the last offer they gave me.
2020 M340ix MSRP with delivery - 68,369 Offer - 56,697 I have to pay 1,500 for shipping back to the states, whenever I decide to go back, so the total price is 58,197. This is a purchase. There are no incentives and no tax for this purchase since I am overseas. The 58k is the OTD price. Sounds like a good deal to me?? |

OK, so help me out here. I've got a custom build all prepared through the build website. Sent it to four different dealers. Was offered 3% off MSRP. I countered at 6% off MSRP. Was basically told, "that's a hard no" with no further negotiation, except one dealer simply asked "how did I come up with that number". 3 of the 4 dealers were all fairly consistent with this. The fourth one didn't respond to me at all.
These are dealers in my local area. I suppose I should look out of state? Particular dealers that any of you can recommend? Feel free to PM me. Thx |

Ya I have been looking at multiple dealers and no one was giving me any good deals . Found a car in another state to be shipped to my local dealer msrp of 61k and I’m at 58k otd so I’m fine with it. It’s that or wait and Hope incentives get better rather be driving the car

Below is what a dealer offered me for a Certified BMW which has not been titled yet so it will have 5 years of new car warranty. The rebate for me will be $3500 and not $4500. It has 4000 miles on it. It has the following options: Driving assistance package, driver assistant pro package, premium package, executive package, 19" M wheels, harmon kardon sound system.
What should i expect to pay for it? Market Value Selling Price 64,420.00 Discount 3,786.00 Rebate 4,500.00 Adjusted Price 56,134.00 Taxable Fees (Estimated) 57.50 Doc Fee 795.00 Tax 3,739.19 Non Tax Fees (New Plate estimate) 653.90 Balance 61,379.59 |

12 months ago I woulda said that was not the greatest price but with inventory/demand being what it is now, those deals appear harder to come by. Unless you get a broker or something and are leasing.
But 5 years unlimited mile warranty is def a big selling point, especially if your buying and not leasing and planning to keep for awhile

I wouldn't pull the trigger on that deal I still see people getting 9-11% off before any incentives on 2020 models. I've seen a few brokers offering that in there remaining inventory. It doesn't hurt to spend about 399 to save another 3-4k

Was going to counter offer the dealer $57k which will be approximately 11.5% off the msrp + any other incentives that BMW has to offer. One dealer offered 7% off MSRP for a custom factory order and this was without any negotiations. Any thoughts? One of the dealers offerd $0 discount over the MSRP for a car that was on the lot. |

There are quite a few out there. One recommended on this forum is Stephen Bacon. I think he's based out of Florida. Link: https://www.baconscarconcierge.com/contact

And yeah using a broker is def the easiest way if you don't want to negotiate yourself. But keep in mind they have a fee (which is usually minimal compared to savings) and you'd likely need to arrange for freight depending on where the broker is located.

I also was able to take advantage of the BMW CCA rebate ($500) before they changed their terms for 2020. My MSRP was ~ $61k and with $0 down/ $0 MSD's my effective monthly is about $575. Not the craziest deal out there but def very attainable

Some on here have reported 9-11% off MSRP for the 2020 MY. I didn't have that opportunity, so I "settled" for 6% off MSRP for a 2021. Edit: I have to believe the 9-11% off MSRP is for on-the-lot vehicles in inventory. Special orders require the store to use an allocation, and many sales staff don't get the same incentive for selling a special order as compared to selling a vehicle in current inventory. If you find a 2020 MY on the lot, you'll almost certainly land a better deal than a special order. All new builds on special orders are 2021 MY at this point in time, I believe. I worked with next level auto broker and I got 9% off a 2021 order and prior I was working with bimmer david and got 10% off a 2020 order that got canceled. What I heard is that bmw is focusing on fulfilling orders so they won't be sending dealerships inventory cars until the orders are fulfilled. If this is indeed true most sales dealerships are going to have for the next 2 months is from orders
