Able to drop any other hints of what's included in the Track Package?

Those tires will give most drivers closer to 5k miles instead of 10k+ miles on the street. It’s a worthy tire for something named competition model but it’s not an optimal street tire. Just like the M3, a very trackable car that is not optimized for street driving only

Again though I’m not convinced these will be standard. Could be that this car is going for a launch event on a track and thereby has these.
lemetier beat me to it (clearly with some inside knowledge) but I would never expect those tires to be standard, my point was just the fact they are offering them as an option from the factory shows a deeper commitment to the track experience for those who plan to track and would option their car for heavier track duty.

Curious what else is in that package? CCBs bundled in? more cooling?

Track pack would be a nice option to tick. I bet it includes those awesome bucket seats, and speed limiter delete too.

Thanks a bunch, awesome news! I guess I was slow to realize you got more insight than just a great eye for details. I was just going to compliment your restraint to pass intriguing hints instead of blurting out, “the car has cup tires!”...

All these goodies is going to make me want to spend more than usual. Competition + AWD + track package, feels like in the area of $85k - $90k. Still a heck of a deal vs a P-car...

CCB would be terrible for a track package.

Agreed, if they are included I’m not getting it. Can it be seen in the pictures, looks like gold calipers but it can of course be an option added on top of TP, hopefully...

Seems like there are a lot of people who want CCB for a competition/track build ... of course people who are familiar with the concept of consumables knows better. also they're pretty obnoxious on the street with how much noise they make. They sure do look good though!

Yes they would (despite being bundled into Track Packages on various models in non-US markets).

Looks like a bigger lip spoiler in the back, too?

I think that looks great so far! I'm interested in the 6MT Pure, but I want those wheels and the upgraded headlights.

Thanks for the tidbit ... a track package sounds great. Sure hope that's available with the Pure model... I know the stick is slower in comparison but ... that's what I want. track days aren't about winning for most of us bc there's always gonna be someone there with a 720S, 488 GT3 or Senna etc to smoke whatever you've brought... lol...

The 6MT has the same wheels as the other cars in that group?

Absolutely no noise from my CCB’s on the road I love them, and will absolutely tick that box from now on

I really am happy for you bc the M6 GC CP I had was very loud and annoying, have heard many similar complaints.... my wife really hated it too. I otherwise loved that car until it got hit in a parking lot and the BMW paint shop did a horrible job... was never the same again

I think CCB would be a street option for me, on a car I didn't plan on tracking very much so they would last. Something about spending 20% of the cars value to do a full pads/rotors brake job just doesn't sit right with me lol. It is definitely a sexy option though ... for the street.

Is that your experience? I did a single track day on CCBs before and it was in an M6GC CP. brakes worked great all day but the brake life remaining went from like 60k to 30k I think just with a few sessions. That may have been the pads the computer was calculating but still kept me from wanting to track it anymore (which wasn't why I bought the car anyway, obv).

I think if I get a car that I use as a "backup track car" where I take it out once or twice a year, I might consider CCB. But spending $20k on a pad/rotor replacement is steep... plus I've seen then broken rotors when removing a wheel bashes into them which would be a pretty bad feeling....

I’m not a track goer, but for cheap track fun I’d use a stripped out 200hp fast Renault or similar rather than an £80k M4 anyways

That’s a shame, did you buy it new? I’ve done 9k miles owned from brand new and as I say they are wonderful.

Infact somewhat weirdly mine don’t seem to have the savage initial bite that many mention either, they are just like way better steels with zero brake dust

The middle car (Motegi Red) is a 6MT pure and shares the same wheels as the HS car but the BSM Comp car has different wheels; the wheels that look similar to the 666M wheels. I want those 666M-looking wheels on the Pure so I hope that's an option. I'm not in love with the other wheels so far.
