The car in the video is an M340i. The small black circle you speak of is just a blank piece of plastic that isn't removeable and doesn't do anything other than fill the space that would be the AdBlue filling point on diesels. BMW use the same parts with this solution rather than having a unique part for petrol and diesel versions.

This is what it looks like on a diesel...
