The front and side is ok, but the rear is really generic. Hoping This looks better in person. The M sport always looks better but 90% of the cars on the road won’t have the package.

Are you serious? I always disliked the cheap looking hood cutover that came straight from a Corolla or Mazda 3.

Love the back and and how much lower the trunk is. The tail lights make for a wider sleeker looking car. Still not a fan of the grill or head lights and for now at least I like the hood lines on the f30 better.

Front looks better, but the back is AWFUL!!! ... Looks like an early 1990's Japanese car.

I never really cared for the F30 design. I preferred the E90/92, F32, and F80/82 instead. The G20 needs M sport like the F30, but I think I prefer the G20. Unlike some I like the new rear design and the loss of the hood line is a plus.

Yes the hood line made the car look cheap. I had the same issue with the 2010-2016 F10 5-Series.

People are referring to the hood line that cuts across the front below the hood where it meets the grill and headlights.

The G20 is free of that poor hood design.

These pictures don't even make the F30 look like it does in person. I am certain once they are out and about they will be more attractive. Plus, I find white to be an unflattering color (on any car).

But it is a great an easy to maintain color.
Doesn't call much attention upon itself, which I like, and the cars are generally cooler in warmer climates.

White definitely has its perks, just not my cup of tea. Being as it may, my car is black and is the opposite of what you described! So you can never really win.

Point well taken about white being generally being way under the radar. Black is fabulous and properly maintained is pure eye candy.

Those 'T' bumber inserts are horrible!!
And front grill too big! A Wide and narrow Grill would of given car a better stance
And why that Nib on the front head lights?!!
The narrowing of the head lights towards the grill looks better on G30

If somebody would show me these tail lights 2 years ago and ask me from what brand it is from, I'd name at least 10 other brands before I'd even think about BMW. But the main problem is simply that it doesn't look good at all.

But other than that, the G20 looks nice.
-1 for the bmw design stuff lol

New grills are Horrible, tail lights look too much like an Audi or Lexus and the bumper corners look Awful. Just my opinion though... I'll stick with my F30 M Sport!

The new 3-series is adopting a lot of Lexus lines in their lights (F+R) I'm not loving.
