Battery Recall for G20

Anyone receive a recall notice in the mail for the battery? Specifically pertaining to a "software error in the battery management system of the 12v battery..."

Necessary service or no? My car has been fine.

Basically yes, took mine to my dealer today and the technician that worked it said the lithium battery needed "reprogramming" (software)….
