Thanks, what year don you have? This isn't the case for me. I turn it on of course at night when the headlights are on. If I shut down the car, it's off by default.

How can this work "TCM_MSA_Memory" My 11.20 330d does not have the physical Button for MSA on off anymore, like my old F30, its allways off.

If you set another coding like MSA complete off, i ll get an errorcode in ista from MSA, it works, but don tlike to have the error in the car

From everything I've read on this forum it's not possible to make the lights any brighter. This is the first time I've heard. Perhaps the voltage parameters were changed? Worst case scenario is to revert back to the original FA and code the ECU.

About to jump in to this, I had previously coded my Ford's in a similar manner. Can we code the fog lights to always come on with low beams (Every time the lights go on, there is no "memory" of the fog lights being on.

its silly, but most of this is just for fun, right?

Bought Bimmercode and coded for the first time today...sport + and the 5 click turn signal. WOW sport + mode made a huge difference.

Probably dumb question...I see some people changing their BMW chime to the Rolls Royce chime. Is the chime from older BMWs still in the system anywhere? The new one is nice but I really miss the e90 chime.

Can you adjust the volume for the turn signal and warning chimes using Bimmercode on a G05? I've already set them at the minimum via the settings/sound menu but they are still loud since I installed an aftermarket amplifier.

Coding is done at your own risk. You need the correct software version and modules on the car for all coding to work correctly. All codes work on my car, but it is possible to cause serious damage to the car particularly in "expert mode".

Head Unit MGU
Remove legal disclaimers
M start up animation in I drive
Video in Motion enable
Radio 50% at start up
Tyre pressure & temperature both displayed
Front DRL check box added in I drive
Body Domain Controller BDC
Start car in adaptive mode
Light / rain sensor insensitive
Turn off passenger mirror tilt in reverse
Rear LEDS on with front DRL's
Boot opening delay to 1 second
No horn when locking car with engine running
Window lifter interuption when opening door - removed
Advanced Crash Module ACSM
Remove seat belt chimes driver and passenger
Change rear view camera to 50km and 50m
Engine Control Unit DME
Air con memory remember last setting
Air con auto settings used in manual mode
Instrument Cluster DKOMBI
Alpina dash layout
Powertailgate Module HKFM
Close tailgate without long press on remote

I added the below in expert mode

Enable Sport + function & Comfort + functions
Expert mode
Body Domain Controller - BDC
3221 PfFesMaster > fes > Change FesSportWorldMode1 to SportExpert (Default should be Non sport expert).
“3221 PfFesMaster” > fes > comfort plus > Comfort Plus

Enable sport + & comfort + options in the I drive menu
Expert mode
Headunit - MGU
3008 > Fes_sport_Expert > Change nicht aktiv to aktiv for sport +
3008 > Fes_Comfort_Plus and change it to aktiv for comfort +

Enable Auto Steering Wheel heat option in I drive
Expert mode
Headunit - MGU
3000 HMI SPEECH > AKT_Auto_Lenkradheizung > aktiv

Enable Auto Steering Wheel heat function
Body Domain Controller - BDC
3142 PfLinLRE > LHZ_ CCM_IKF > aktiv
3450 Others 1 > IKF_ENABLE: ikf_alle_sitze

Enable Rear Camera Zoom (Towbar)
Expert mode
Headunit – MGU
300B Parken- Macro_trailer_coupling > active.

Enable Bowers & Wilkins HI FI & Equaliser
Expert mode
Headunit - MGU
3002 - Audio Broadcast – Audio System then change the parameters from alev3-Ram to alev4-Ram code

Ambient light colours were then changed in expert mode with an additional instruction sheet which I have.

I have the stock speakers. Because of that I don’t have the EQ settings.
My question is if I enable the EQ settings, will they actually show up and work? If so, that’s amazing!

The EQ will show up but nothing will happen with the base HiFi system. You need the HK system for it to work.

Any way to enable the turn signals being display in the HUD? I saw a video where this was done on a different model BMW.

Hi, could you tell me what the Lane change assist function does exactly and is it configurable on any car? Or does it need to have driver assistant pro installed?

Thanks!

samcrooks182,

To use Active Lane Change Assistant, not only do you need to code your car as per cheatsheet, but your car needs to have Active Cruise Control (believe it's part of Driving Assistant Pro, S5AUA).

Having said that, it is a great feature on highways (Motorways), particularly on trips. With ACC engaged, to change lanes, you pull your turn signal stalk in the direction you want to go almost to the midpoint of turn stalk, just short of stalk lock/click point. An arrow shows up in center of instrument cluster (and in HUD, if equipped); the car will then change lanes automatically when it's safe.

As I said, I find it particularly useful on highways

Hope that helps!
