Everyone goes on about the new 4 series and m 3/4 grille but I can't stand the big smiley Ford face of the current 3 series..
This actually slightly improves it.. albeit hard to discern from the 5 series LCI

Render looks good, except that I wonder what the DRLs would look like if someone doesn't opt for the laser lights?

I can't get over the fact that the 3, 4 and even the X5, a significantly higher priced vehicle, doesn't get proper DRLs unless you opt for the laser lights, which is always bundled in a $10K options package.

oh, what a cop out. The notched eyes was a nice touch. I do like the grilles though. The current gen 3 has grilles that look like an afterthought at best.

If it looks like smaller 5 series it is OK, the 5 is always a little too long for my taste, since E60 really.

Without the notched headlights (which gave just the right sprinkling of aggression to the G20), there will be little to distinguish the 3 from the frontend of the rather sedate, conservatively-styled 5 series now.
