New owner and new member here, car is a 320d xdrive Touring. Just finding my way around so be patient with me please

First BMW I’ve ever had, it’s our everyday user for moving grandkids, dogs (3 of them, all terriers) and other stuff and really suits our lifestyle. Mostly had hatchbacks for the ‘family’ stuff and traded in our Mazda 3 as part exchange for this car.

I’m based in central Scotland and have been involved heavily in the modifying scene with various ‘performance’ cars, always as a fun/second car for large Euro trips, current muse for high days and holidays is a 5.0 Mustang GT.

Anyhoos, looking forward to getting to grips with the forum and enjoying the tips and experiences of other owners, forums are the best places for that in my experience.

Welcome to the forum! It’s a mine of information as well as being very active.

The people on here tend to be more knowledgeable than the dealers themselves, so if you have a question or problem you’re more likely to get the right answer here.

Thanks for the welcomes so far folks, I’ve got a few dumb questions ready to go. Started reading back from the very last page of posts last night, got to around page 24 then lapsed into unconsciousness lots of reading and catching up to do

Just wondered when you mentioned central Scotland. Daughter works in Scotland and lives in Bo'ness and thought I may see you around when I finally get back up there to see her!

Cool, nowhere is that far from each other in central Scotland really. I’ve got and made many friends throughout the UK through car forums always good to meet up with other owners
