Looks great! Just ordered a G21 in oxide grey, but between your pics and the others I keep seeing on the road, thinking about going back to PB.
Did they delete the passenger lumbar and side bolster adjustment on the M Sport seats? Was going to get them, but thought the big black shell might reduce forward view for the kids. Though they would rather just mess about on a tablet than look outside, so maybe I shouldn't care... |

I did put a deposit on a new build previously but pulled out due to the dealer telling untruths about a build slot they didn't have. So lead time went from 2 moths to 5 months, I found this and got my deposit back |

Didn't want to come home What a car ! I've had a m340i saloon on loan for two weeks loved the car but it did seem very busy and a bit too snatchy on take up, the dirty diesel is butter smooth by comparison and totally effortless the torque is insane I've come from a F82 which I totally loved but this thing is on another level when it comes to comfort, practically, effectively and technology, I think we are going to get on just fine. And 50 plus mpg at motorway speeds cannot be a bad thing Happy Boy |

I test drove an m340d saloon first, absolutely loved it. My friend actually had an m340i on order and I have to say, the D felt a bit lighter on it's feet; the 340i had a lot of weight on the wheel even in comfort mode and the initial 0-30mph on launch felt less exciting. Economy wise, dealing with London bound roads I don't tend to even bother trying to make progress so I just sit on cruise at 65-70 and typically pull in 58-62mpg. I've just noticed your options list too, you went with the yes option then? |

Still question whether I should have gone back to diesel, and ultimately (as a cash buyer) I weighed things up and decided not to due to the political attacks on DERV, which are even more than on petrol. I decided that as a non high miler any more (as got 4 cars now, inc the daughters 1.0 Polo petrol that I did 63.5mpg on A/B roads without trying) that diesel wasn't a pre-requisite. However, the torque! I've driven most of my driving life with diesels and think I am more conditioned towards diesels and find anything over 4.5k rpm a little hooliganish - well I don't really, I just find that I don't often need to go above that, and as such, a 40d would be better suited to me. For good everyday progress, I do think 500NM is more than acceptable, but 700NM...... And the one thing that I do find a wee bit ngeative (but no dela breaker), is the range. Much better than in my previous car though, but it would be nice to be able to do 500 miles on a tank! But the politics of diesel.... (along with my reluctance to lease a car)

I'm also a big petrol head and I've never owned a diesel so that also played a part. Got to love the sound of the i6 with a decent exhaust too haha. |

What happens when we run out of Lithium ? what do we do with the contaminated waste ? how do we control the pollution produced during the toxic process of making the cells? how how about a 10k bill every 8 years for a new battery? Why are we still charging green cars with fossil fuels ? This is only the tip of the iceberg and is driven by big greedy businesses blinding people into thinking its GREEN, we are being forced into a new technology that is currently causing more pollution than any fossil fuel vehicles at the cost of raping third world landscapes and habitats as well as child slavery. Its fine for us in the Western world its making us greener but without consideration for what we cannot see. I don't think fossil fuels will be leaving us anytime soon If we want to make an impact on Co2 emissions stop farming Beef for meat the biggest producer of Co2 in the world, I would give up steak if it made a difference.
