Splash Guards Mud Flaps For G20 / G21
Hi all,
I know mud flaps / splash guards are not the prettiest items in the world but they do stop stones taking the paint off our bumpers and side skirts now my F82 was a constant problem with this issue and even after 15000 miles the edges were looking ugly with paint chips. I Have contacted my dealer and he has said they are not available for the G21 in the UK at this time but they are in other parts of the world !!! My question is has anyone in the UK fitted these as I've found a reference on a US post https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1654154 and they cannot fault the fit they say they look like OE parts just wondering if they are made in China for BMW. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254492243...YAAOSwlkheLAVH |

I would be interested in a set, but the link you provide says my piddly little 320d xdrive Msport is not compatible
For £40 odd quid I’d take the gamble if they were compatible |

Hi.
I ordered these mudflaps, after a bit of a search. I took a bit of a punt tbh, as I wasn't 100% sure whether they would fit or not. Look at this on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-Mud-F...-127635-2958-0 The mudflaps didn't come with the little push rivets, so I also ordered these. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-Wheel...-127635-2958-0 And here are a few pics of the mudflaps on the car. Any questions, feel free to ask. Cheers |

Thanks for the great pics.
A couple of Q's re the install: 1. Can the mudflaps be installed without jacking the car up or removing the wheel? 2. Is any drilling required? Or do the rivets fit into pre existing holes? 3. Is there a risk of the mudflaps bottoming out. I have mudflaps on my F30 and have nearly lost one due to it scrapping on the ground going thru a road hump. Thanks |

The pic of the rear looks like there’s a gap, is it just a ‘reflection’ issue of the pic? |

Can't the original OE push fit rivets be used ? That hold the plastic liners in place surly these have to be removed? Thanks Njw |

Hi all
My pleasure. I fitted these without jacking the car up, or drilling, or any need to modify whatsoever. I couldn't get the little push rivets out without the centre being pushed in and lost in the back of the panel. This rendered them useless, obviously, but the new ones were only a few quid, so why not replace. I had a look at the pics again, and that does look like a gap, but it's definitely not present on the car. The mudflaps are a great fit and every bit as good as the dealer ones I had on my F30. Tbeyve been on for around 2000 miles now, and I haven't had any issues with bottoming out at any stage. Cheers. |
