I think we've heard plenty when it comes to those 2 topics. It's time to move on...

Are there buttons on that shifter?
Yes, M5 has them, I think to cycle up down on the shift speed
Ah, similar ones, thanks!

Not a chance in hell. Mid 2020 SOP at the absolute earliest.

I was really hoping for an extra kink in the tail lights a la 8-series. Too bad they are the straight, boring lights as on the standard G20. Really hope they do something more interesting and traditionally BMW with the tail lights for LCI on these cars. This and the ugly door handles are my only styling gripes with the new 3-series. Glad to see the prominent hips are still there, however! Wouldn't be a M3 without them.

E92 has a flat arse and is the lamest looking M3/4 released.

This G series already has the best looking front end. It's going to look amazing and be the best performing m3/4 of all time (until the next one and the next)
Front end of G series is the worst of all time to me. No offence

Guess it's another intentional teaser-wise warm-up leak for the new M3.

I really like the F80 interior. It's clean, pleasing to look at, isn't 'in your face', and very intuitive. I had an IS for about 10 years and it took me about 10 minutes to feel comfortable with where everything was. I think this says a lot.

+1
Don't like the new "G" language

Interesting.... do we think these are tooling trial cars? Would be pretty far along for the time line coming out of the rumors we have heard about production.

Current rumor seems to be some kind of reveal in fall, either design language concept or possibly the full car , the on sale mid to late 2020. Awfully early in the process for this type of leak, no need to build hype 12 months ahead of on sale.

Have a look at some interior pics of a 6MT equipped G20 320d for the answer.

I was going to say that. Still has a push button handbrake.

Perhaps aimed at Euro people - who has driven a manual with a pushbutton handbrake? I haven't and I've been keen to know how it works in the real world.

I lbs

Thé ZF8 hasn't had this set up to my knowledge.

Also, the knobs tend to be shared across the line and this is not the same as the new M5, 8 series upgraded crystal or new 6 GT.

Looks like a fake that has mixed up Audi and old BMW for a prediction
It looks very similar to the F90 M5 shifter as well as the new M850i shifter. It is just wrapped in leather. It doesn't look like the SMG/DCT shifter at all.

Hopefully they make one that looks like this:

Chevy SS has a stick and electronic parking brake. It's fine, I guess. You can't use the handbrake for starting on steep hills, but it does have hill hold like I'm sure the G80 will have. But I don't always trust hill hold. The electronic parking brake does release automatically if you start driving though, but it's a little slower than doing it by hand.

So other than handbrake slides, it's pretty much the same. I've heard you can still force the electronic parking brake to engage if you hold it while driving, but I haven't tried that.
