320e Touring would work well for me - but it's just too late to the party. I'm getting emails hassling me to order now, but trying to hold off for the time being.

I'm June, so it's getting incredibly desperate given the long lead times.

I'll miss the F10, but tax is heavy on it and I'm also contributing £50 / month towards it, so it needs to go ASAP in reality - a 330e saves me £270 / month in total! - that's a hefty pay rise.

But... after wrestling the bike in and out a couple of times this week, I'll only order another saloon if I can save even more, or if there's absolutely no other option. I'm nicking the wife's camper van to get to my race tomorrow, just because it's so much easier.

I think the base M sport is well specced in many cases, the infotainment, reverse camera, heated leather, self parking etc is not bad for a BMW to be fair, the options arent badly priced really, HK audio is good not too disimilar to the VAG prices for uprated audio. Some of the packs do take the wee tho

For me its 1.330e, 2. 508 hybrid and 3. XC40.

I really wanted to like the Outlander but sheesh its so bad inside
We're using Inchcape.. we've got access to almost any type of car.

Key thing for us is the P11D value needs to be under £40k and hybrid/Electric cars need to be under 50g CO2

I did have a look at Skoda Sport Line Plus and L&K IV. Just not sold by the interior considering that's where I'll be the most for 3-4 years I'll be having it.

Ford Kuga PHEV was appealing but 12% compared 8% when you're on the higher rate (41% being in scotland) makes a huge difference.

Kuga is 10% for 20/21. Same as the Superb/Passat/330e.

I took my Road bike up to friends for a ride a couple of weeks ago and just removed the wheels and folded the rear seats down. Bit of a Pita but got everything in ok.
I have a Saris Bones rack for three bikes which is pretty sturdy especially with the wheels out.

Just did some digging.

Car's arriving before April 12% BMW/Kuga/Passat

8% Mercedes

After April the government will switch to the WLTP.

10% BMW/Kuga/Passat

6% Mercedes

Comcar are still showing the old info. I cross ref'd the mfr figure with the potential new BIK tables on fleetnews to get accurate figs.

I know you can get everything in - but, as you say, it's a PITA - and my rear bumper is scuffed to hell due to pedals etc catching on it. Racks are mostly not a great option - you really should have a trailer board if using a rack, and I wouldn't want to leave a bike on a rack in some of the places I stay! (Mostly hotels within the M25)

My ideal is being able to flip the seats and dump the bike in without removing wheels etc.

If the G20 Touring is going to be too late, then you really only have the Kuga,Superb est and Passat Est as realistic option, maybe the 508 SW could do the job. I wasnt sold on the Superb hatch boot, seemed a bit shallow at points.
