Anyone know why the m340xi in Northeast came stock w 18" 225/45/18 95H tires? these do not seem to be high performance tires?

I don't think there are any high performance AS RFTs available - you will have to get non RFTs such as Michelin A/S 3+ or Conti DWS 06.

In order to get performance tires, it requires a staggered wheel setup. This was an option I ticked when building my 3.

They are horrible. Huge misfire by BMW. These tires don't belong on a sports sedan. They will squeal on a highway on ramp at leisure speeds. They only last about 10k miles too. My suggestion- esp. if you're leasing. Swap them out now and put them back on a few months before you return your lease.
