Ah ok, unfortunately I don’t have that option so it ended up taking a few strongly worded emails for my dealership to pull their finger out. In the end I used a different one that wasn’t much further but have been more helpful giving it to me for 2 days and I didn’t have to fight for it.

Which dealers have you tried? Syntner in Oldbury, were very accomodating they offered me a 48 hour trial after an initial accompanied 40 min test drive.

Funnily enough it was Sytner in Oldbury who I didn’t get on with! Small world.

I ordered my BMW 330i mid Feb with Lex and I've been notified my car is estimated to arrive at the supplier on 22nd June!!

Had no idea it would be so long.

Lex have told me BMW arent accepting any orders for the 330e, as all build slots are full for the current model year. once the order books open back up, deliveries will be in October.

Its a bit frustrating as i was ready to order this week, the price on our company car scheme makes a specced up 330e way cheaper than Merc DE and the Pug 508 hybrid.

I spoke to the B2B sales manager at Sytner Cardiff yesterday - he's telling me October at the earliest for the 330e.

The X1 25e is currently available for June delivery. That's certainly looking like a very strong alternative for me, as I don't want to wait until late October, or even later, to start saving BIK!

Lucky you but I would try to delay til after 1st April if it is a company car as you will benefit by 2% reduction in BiK.

yes, annoying but just glad to be getting car 2 months earlier. Wait was killing me. Still saving a small fortune after 3 years of a 330d! Just seen on another thread though, that after 1st April the grant for charge points drops by £150. I have install on 6th and they cant do earlier! (not sure if reduction is correct yet). Anyone want any of my money? Help yaself before it's all gone lol

First world problem I know but any thoughts on how COVID-19 will impact delivery dates? I’m hoping my loan car arrives on Monday as scheduled otherwise when the company returns to normal working I may not have a car and may not be able to get to my job as my once a week commute and stay away is a 300 mile round trip.

So email today pushing back delivery estimate from 10th June to 24th July but let’s face it in the current circumstances it’s irrelevant. I hope everyone is doing OK, observing the rules and keeping safe.

My car is finished

Ordered my car on january 10th, the production was done by early march. March 11 it was registered here in sweden so right now it is whaiting at the harbour. Normaly i would get it within 2 weeks, but the current situation the dealer said 2-5 weeks. they are unsure.

Sorry to hijack a UK thread, but I ordered my 330e at the last week of March and despite factory closures/shutdown, I'm being told an expected delivery end of June (and this is all the way to down-under Oz). Seems to go in the face of some dealers who are saying 'don't expect anything until October' for you UK folks.

That would be a great result even without a global pandemic!

I ordered last week of February to get it in Sept. As far as I know my dealer and the factory is closed.

Same as me. Will be interesting to compare notes! My m140's PCP runs out in Sep too so will be interesting to see what BMW do. Will I be able to extend the PCP or will I have to either buy the car or hand it back if the 330e is delayed?

When I asked my dealer what would happen if the car wasnt ready in Sept he said, "Dont worry we will look after you" I have a Volvo on PCP, so who knows?

Thats pretty good going, but you can on occasion benefit from a cancellation or what not. But 12 weeks is about right. There is a model switch right now in any case, so for us company car/lease guys, and especially those who are having something with options, then longer leadtimes apply for sure.
