I tend to buy the car outright so reduced APR no good to me. I'm still a little confused re C2C as I've been speccing 330 and M340 Tourings on their site for a while now and where as I was getting 17% off a 340 and 14% off a 330, both are down to 11% overnight. I spoke to the owner few days ago saying that their configurator wasn't in synch with BMW's and he said thet'd get the data in the next few days but certainly didn't mention the reduction in discounts. I'm only in this position because of the dealer mentioning the price rise and change in packs but looks like I'll have to go back and accept his offer on my original order and pay the extra £600 as still better than the 11% discount now. Shame as I was happy to pay the extra one or two thousand for the 340!

I imgine the discounts will get bigger as the months roll forward. As its just the beginning of the new quarter discounts aren't that attractive. If you're in no rush, I'd say wait and hopefully discounts get better..

Plus BMW UK have withdrawn their contribution of £1750 from the 330i, which makes it 4% normally included in the c2c discount of 15% previously.

Reduced deposit contribution shows as lower discount on C2C. I'd be going back to the dealer and looking for a better deal, maybe they can find you an acceptable stock M340i without the Mild Hybrid which is now technically an out of date model that they can do a special deal on to get you to where you want to be....

Final decision taken and order placed. Reduced support and price increase meant sense prevailed and stuck to original plan so, 330i M-Sport Pro Edition Touring in Oxide Grey with black, extended Merino leather. Visibility/ Comfort Plus/Technology/ Parking Assistant packs. Just over £47k all in which I’m happy with, just the wait till Q1 2021! Thanks for all your help/ suggestions.

It's probsbly closer to £6.5k which is close to about 12%. They worked hard for me as they'd originally agreed to 14% then when the 2021 MY came out there was a £650 increase then he had to ring me again when BMW reduced their support and said another £600 on top,so I think they reduced their margins to the bone to get me that price after mucking me about ( not their fault at all). I can't find the exact price to work out exact discount but it was £47k something!

In May, for a M340i (due in next week) I initially used carwow. 2 quotes came in, my local dealer and one 80 miles away. The latter was £5k cheaper and telesales locally didn't believe it. I waited until dealerships reopened and my local matched the best carwow offer. Discount was a little over 15%.

Hopefully those days will come again but too late for me, still happy with what I’ve got and how the dealer dealt with a tricky situation.

I just double checked Autoebid now. They were the best when I ordered mine but they are now only10% on an M340i touring now and C2C are 11%. The list price has crept up by nearly £1700 too.

Not sure how much of the increase in list price is factoring in any tariffs come January, if it’s not beyond the pale to mention the B- word!

Seeing as there is still time to negotiate a deal, I highly doubt possible tariffs come into the list price yet.

(I don't think there will be a deal, however, as it's clear the Tories never wanted one in the first place. It's just a game to place the blame on the EU).

Yep, 10% extra tariff on imported cars will not be good for the industry.

Decisions, decisions!

Ive been looking at an X5 3.0d M-Sport but the spec I want is available throughout europe but not in the UK even the individual programme cannot accomodate colour change with alloys or exchange Vernasca leather for Merino leather although those two options are available in the rest of europe......So I thought I would look at the X3 M40d but again the spec, in particular the wheels just doesnt do it for me.

Ive even toyed with the idea of a Mercedes GLE 400d, something I have never thought of purchasing or owning, but even Mercedes have reduced manufacturer contributions.

Finally, I thought about a M340d or M340i touring with M-Performance kit and 795M wheels but like everyone else the incentives have been reduced and I dont want to be paying £65k for a 3 series touring

I am in no rush but was hoping of placing an order for delivery March/April 2021 so Ill be watching the quarterly marketing releases with great interest.
