Had some leftover plywood and ordered some speaker box felt from ebay and mounted the amp off the rear deck.

Which LOC did you used for RS2.1200?
It seems RS2.1200 itself has a high level input port (250mV – 8V) and I wonder LOC is necessarily required. But I'm not sure HK BASS outputs below 8V.

HK Booster outputs in the 26V peak level.

I bought the one technic posted early on in this thread, Wavtech Link2 LOC.

The Bass Boost feature of this amp can get a deeper and louder bass from the OEM woofers without the need of replacing them.

If you are not satisfied with the extra bass of this aftermarket amp setup then replace the OEM woofers with SWS-8Xi and the Soundstream amp.
Bumping this to see if you or anyone else has any other amp suggestions since it appears the Soundstream Reserve RS2.1200 is out of production and not available anywhere.

What should we set the internal jumpers to on the Wavtech LOC, 20V or 40V?
Would it see this peak 26V level often? Or can I get away with leaving it in 20V?
I have both my LOCs set to 20V currently, but if 40V setting is absolutely ncecessary, I'll go in and change it out.
TIA

Does anyone know if it’s worth having a dsp amp to control the trunk sub and underseat woofers

Jl audio do a 5 channel dsp version which could be perfect so it’s is worth paying the extra to have dsp functionality into the underseat woofers and trunk sub

you can still set up time delay without having your DSP connected to the trunk sub signal. The key is to treat the trunk sub as the farthest unit in your setup.

Just consider the time delay of the trunk sub as set to zero. And set up time delay of the other units.
By doing this, you can still achieve proper time alignment, even without direct connection to the trunk sub signal.
