GPS errors iphone

I’ve got the exact same problem in my 2023 with I drive 8. Anyone have any luck fixing?

Issue no longer occurs for me. Have you updated to the latest version of iOS? Can’t prove that did it for me as I had stopped using it for awhile, but haven’t had an issue with 16.5.

Adding onto this, I can confirm iOS 16.5 and iDrive 03/2023.50 corrects this problem.

Confirming this as well. iOS 16.5 and the new iDrive update corrected this issue for me.

Used Waze to test today, only did about 50 miles but didn’t experience any issues.

Oddly - the only time it has happened in last couple of months is the two times I plugged my phone in to the cars wired USB C in the center console

I haven’t had this issue in months… until yesterday. It threw me off the highway into some side streets and started rerouting, but then… voila! It fixes itself after about 2 minutes and I finish the trip without issue.

I’m guessing some type of error check “fix” was implemented in the last update for ID8. Anyone else seen this problem still recently??
