G20 320e LCI: Hybrid vs Sport

So the title is pretty much it, recently got a G20 320e LCI and I cannot understand if a full kickdown on Hybrid is as fast as a full kickdown on Sport, mainly because when I kickdown on Hybrid it does light up a blue signal around the power% saying "e-power" or something alike, and in Sport it does not show anything like that.

BONUS 1: The shifter in S instead of D actually makes a difference or is it purely to keep the revs higher as a preparation for kickdown, but after (when already running the pace) it's the same?

BONUS 2: Does the shifter in S not allow the "e-power" blue signal to come up just visually, or it actually stops the electric power from helping? Because when I have the shifter in S, that signal never appears.

Thank you all for your time, and any guidance you can give me is all appreciated.
