Outlook 365 - Microsoft Email
How do you enter a new password in the BMW G20?
For security reasons, I have to reset my Outlook365 password every few months at my work. But now, the Outlook365 email in the car does not work. It just tries to constantly log in, but of course it can't because the original password entered is incorrect. I cannot see a way to get into the Outlook365 email on the G20 to enter the new, updated password. Has anyone else managed to reset the password? I rebooted iDrive, but still just get the never-ending 'Logging In...' on the email screen. |

Think you can use the website portal to adjust the settings.
Can you send me a screenshot of outlook (and maybe agenda)? My dealer told me these apps are disabled for the moment because of updates. Like to show them this isn't true.

You have O365 at your G20?? 😲
I never seen a trace of it. When I asked bmw they told me it isn't available for iDrive 7 yet. Do you have iDrive 6 perhaps?

The update didn't fix the issue, its stuck on "Logging in" again. I need to raise it with BMW, can't believe they haven't realised, password changing is very common in corporations.

I activated O365 on car when it arrived yesterday using QR code and inputting details on my phone. But it doesn’t seem to remember it and when I go to do it again it keeps asking to scan the QR code.
Is this normal? |

I have bad news though. Although it works well, BMW and Microsoft have, it appears, had a small falling out as Microsoft do not consider BMW cars to be data secure. So Office 365 is to be withdrawn. If you have a 6 month taster (as I do) then when that ends that's it. There is now on ID7 no additional pop3 email available any more either. So from April its No email at all in BMW. As usual I have had to drag that out of the Connecteddrive people. |

You can say that again. May last car (an F30 320i) was built in 2016 just 17 days before ID5 was made O365 available. So I get it in this car and...now its going.
But the fact is that nobody tells you this information, you have to drag it from Connecteddrive. |
