I have to find out how people are getting leases like this. I was quoted $840 a month lease with $2500 down on a $64881.99 sale price! Not figuring in a trade yet cause we are not 100% sure we want to....

Got to be good at dealing and make sure you go in with the figures you want. Go there and tell them exactly what your looking for % off pre-incentives, base MF and whatever (if) you want to put money down. Make sure you know what lease rebates you qualify for too.

Just a matter of dealing with dealers, if one can't do it, move on and try another, someone will always beat the price to make the sale. Try online as well, so you don't have to waste your time going in or just call the dealership.

In your case 850 a month with 2500 down is a terrible deal.

LA and NYC are the two most competitive BMW sales areas in the US. It'll be very hard to replicate those deals in other parts of the country, especially if you don't live in a populated area with multiple BMW dealers competing against each other.

you know what it was for us.... we were looking for 2 cars at the same time.... at some point we said f*ck it and just through a number at every local dealer out of our ass... I think we said something like 590 for the m340 and 650 for the x4... most said that its impossible and they will be loosing too much money to make that deal... as soon as some came back just a little over the price we gave, we knew its definitely doable. Stuck to our guts and got the best price we could and were happy with it and signed.

there are also these 2 m340's in FL that are under 600 on swapalease, you dont need to get them but can use them as a baseline for stealerships,

Agree that your circumstance is a bit special getting 2 at once. It is probably also to my disadvantage that I insist on a special vehicle at this price and want Individual paint. But the final price of the car is just fine....the lease just blows.

finally switched over to "production begins", looks like week 49 instead of week 50 that was quoted by bmw genius. I was also told by a friend that usually the week that you are told it goes into production, is actually the week that it completes production instead. Will keep my eye on it and update
